 Go over your work several times (before during and after)  Listen and don’t blurt out!!! (Teacher, students)  Participate (it keeps you focused)  Cooperate in groups (PARTICIPATE IN DISCUSSIONS, SHARE YOUR IDEAS, DON’T ACT SILLY, BE CREATIVE, STAY ON TOPIC)  Take good notes (not necessarily verbatim, use charts and diagrams, put it in your own words!!!)  Pick up the papers from the tray  Stay on task to keep from distracting others  ASK QUESTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!! (relevant questions)

 Stretch out your homework over two days  Take all your junk with you  Bring your homework home  Return all things you borrowed  Stay balanced (don’t spend all your time and energy on one thing)  Study for quizzes ahead of time (not the night before)  Review what you learned so it stays fresh in your mind  Ask questions after class if you didn’t get to ask in class  Go to Mr. Platt for tutoring (?)
