Boston Freedom Trail Project OPEN POWERPOINT: Click Start and select All Programs Select Microsoft Office Select Microsoft Office Powerpoint 2003

Boston Freedom Trail Project CHOOSE A DESIGN TEMPLATE: Right click on slide and choose Slide Design Browse available design templates in the right window and select the one you desire Notice that your slide design has changed

Boston Freedom Trail Project CREATE A TITLE PAGE: Click on Click to add title and type in Boston Freedom Trail Click on Click to add subtitle and enter your name, school, and grade

Boston Freedom Trail Project CHOOSE A SLIDE LAYOUT: Right click on slide and choose Slide Layout In the right window, select the one that includes title, text, and content Notice that your slide layout has changed

Boston Freedom Trail Project ENTER CONTENTS: Click Click to add title and enter the name of the first site of the Freedom Trail Click Click to add text and enter the 5 facts you found (Hit ENTER after each fact to start a new bullet) Click Click icon to add content to add a picture related to that site (Be sure to include the source of the content) Click New Slide to add a new slide Repeat the above steps for the other 16 sites

Boston Freedom Trail Project ADD TRANSITION: Right click on slide and choose Slide Transition In the right window, select the transition you desire Add sound if desired Click Apply to All Slides Click Slide Show to view effect Hit Esc if you want to return to the previous window Check Automatically after ___ seconds if you want the slides to advance automatically
