+ Types of Growth Percentiles AGP = Adequate Growth Percentile – a normative descriptor of the amount of growth required of a student to remain or become proficient in three years or the 10 th grade – whichever comes first. (65.7/61.21 in Reading and 49.3/49.17 in Math) MGP = Median Student Growth Percent – A summary of Student Growth Percentiles for a school or subgroup. (37/51 in Reading and 39/51 in Math) SGP = Student Growth Percentile – a normative descriptor of one student’s achievement over time that compares his/her performance with that of “academic peers”.

+ Continue focusing on high expectations for overall students to be over 80% proficient. Narrow in on our sub pops to give them more individualized instruction. Focus on vocabulary, citing evidence, justifying, and more nonfiction reading in all subjects Monitor achievement throughout the year – student growth.
