Accelerated Reader Students are required to complete a Calendar Log each week. The log counts as 5 homework grades. Students are required to read independently each night for at least 30 minutes. Students have an individual AR Reading Goal. Every two weeks, student progress toward their goal will be evaluated. ASSESSMENT GRADES ASSESSMENT GRADEAR Grades count as ASSESSMENT GRADES. Each student's goal is to read at least 3* books within their determined level. Each book's score counts as an ASSESSMENT GRADE. Students should be reading books within their determined reading level zone. Books of a higher or lower level must be approved. *subject to change for 1 st MP
