b) Hardware configuration: This is our test board, you can connect your PGA309 board to J* or T* of interface board. Step 3:
b) Hardware configuration: Step 4: (4-wire voltage output) Notes: (Same GND for the below two power supply) Power supply #1: +Vdut =5V -Vdut=GND Power supply #2: +-15V GND
b) Hardware configuration: Step 4: (4-wire voltage output) Notes: (Same GND for the below two power supply) Power supply #1: +Vdut =5V -Vdut=GND Power supply #2: +-15V GND
b) Hardware configuration: Step 5: (4-wire current output) Notes: (Float GND for power supply #1) Power supply #1: +Vdut =24V -Vdut≠GND Power supply #2: +-15V GND
b) Hardware configuration: Step 5: (4-wire current output) Notes: (Float GND for power supply #1) Power supply #1: +Vdut =24V -Vdut≠GND Power supply #2: +-15V GND You can use your own Multi-meter with current measurement!
Extending the system with Slave Board:
c) Software configuration
c) Software configuration: Windows 7 Attention
c) Software configuration: Press “Select Model File” to select correct model file. Also, you can use “”Create Model File” to create a new model file.
c) Software configuration: Default Model Files for you:
c) Software configuration: Press “Start Cal” and then press the four Yes and Continue with Calibration
c) Software configuration: Press “Continue” to do the Fast Scan. For the below picture, channel 0 and 1 is ok because I only connected two sensor modules to channel 0 and 1.
c) Software configuration: Press “Continue” to do the calibration Below result was tested with TH1961 (with USB-232 rather than GPIB).
c) Software configuration: The other thing you need to pay more attention is “Address of TH1961”, The current address of TH1961 we used is “COM 6”. You need to change it in DMM script file. Detailed step is in the below slides:
c) Software configuration: How to create a new model file to match the address of TH1961.
c) Software configuration: Take voltage output as an example: Select “4wire_4p096_diode_USB.txt”
c) Software configuration: Take voltage output as an example: Press “Edit DMM Script” and select “Voltage_TH1961_USB.txt”
c) Software configuration: Take voltage output as an example: Change the COM port in the open script file. Make sure it is the same as your Multimeter(TH1961) address.
c) Software configuration: Take voltage output as an example: After you change the script file, please save the file and re-select the script file again. Then press “save” to save the Model File.
c) Software configuration: Take voltage output as an example: Save the Model File:
c) Software configuration: Select the new Model File, then you can press “Start Cal” to do the calibration.
4-wire voltage output result: After the calibration:
For current output: Model File: DMM script file: Iout_4p096_diode_USB.txt DMM script file: Current_TH1961_USB.txt Also need to pay more attention on the address of DDM!
Thanks!
Back Up! If you are using Agilent 34401, pls see the below two slides of configuration files.
If you use Agilent 34401A with GPIB: Voltage output: Model File: 4wire_4p096_diode.txt DMM script file: Volt_34401_GPIB.txt Current output: Iout_4p096_diode.txt Current_34401_GPIB.txt Also need to pay more attention on the address of DDM!
If you use Agilent 34401A with RS232: Voltage output: Model File: 4wire_4p096_diode.txt DMM script file: Voltage_34401_rs232.txt Current output: Iout_4p096_diode.txt Current_34401_rs232.txt Also need to pay more attention on the address of DDM!
