Building the e-Zine

The e-Zine is in the form of a Website and must contain the following: Several pages, which must be linked, including an Information Page An animated banner Descriptive Text A Video Clip

First, we start by creating a new Website, using Dreamweaver

Here, we set up the settings for the site

Then we have to set up the Server by following the prompts

Setting the Cascading Style Sheet for the site

Having saved the Style Sheet, this is what we see

We then Add Pages to the Site. They will then be linked

The first page MUST be called index.htm

Having repeated for another few pages, now have all the pages ready for linking

Here, we create a Placeholder for a Banner

This is where we set up the size and other parameters for the Banner: If this message appears, Click ‘YES’

After being prompted to save the Banner File, it will appear on the Web Page

Inserting a Button to link to another page

Now we identify the button

And here is the control!

Now we add a Video (Shockwave) file

Looking at the list of files, we see the files we added
