Benefits of Social Media: Customer Engagement Revenue Creation Building Loyalty Thought Leadership Search Engine Optimisation

Social Media Platforms

Creating a Facebook Page It's free to set up a Facebook Page and it only takes a few minutes to get started. Choose a category and a Page name that represents your business. Pick a logo or another image that people associate with your business to use as a profile picture. Write a sentence about your business so people understand what you do. Set a memorable web address for your Page that you can use on marketing material to promote your presence on Facebook. Choose a cover photo that represents your brand and showcases your product or service. It's the first thing people will see when they visit your Page.

Maintaining YOUR Facebook Posting relevant content is the most important thing you can do to keep them interested. Make sure your posts are relevant to your audience and business Be succinct, friendly and conversational Share photos and videos because they tend to be more engaging Ask questions or seek input Give access to exclusive information and specials Be timely by posting about current events, holidays or news

Maintaining YOUR Facebook Organise your posts Help people identify the most important content on your Page: Pin: Make your most important post stay at the top of your Page for 7 days Star: Highlight important stories by making them larger and more visible Hide: Hide posts that may no longer be relevant or just aren't as engaging Best Practice: Post at least 1 to 2 times per week so you stay top-of-mind and relevant to the people who like your Page.

Maintaining YOUR Facebook Scheduling posts: https://www.facebook.com/help/389849807718635 Promote your post to reach more people in news feed Promoting your post is an easy way to reach more of the people who like your Page and their friends in their news feed on desktop and mobile. Promoting a post simply bumps it higher than it would otherwise appear in your audience's news feeds. Increase the likelihood that people will: See your message in their news feed Become aware of your business Respond to your offer or sales promotion

Facebook Insights Page Insights are available once 30 people like your Page. Use insights to see what is working! Insight Tabs Likes: Who likes your Page and how they found you Reach: The demographic information and number of unique people who have seen your Page content Talking about this: The unique people who have created a story about your Page including posts on your Page timeline, likes, comments or shares of your posts Performance metrics: The size and engagement of your audience Performance graph: How each post has influenced the number of people talking about your Page and your reach Page post insights: Analytics on each of your Page posts

Respond to YOUR Audience Continue to engage: To encourage people to develop a relationship with your Page and continue to engage them, make sure you respond to comments and private messages. Address specific people: If a lot of people have commented on a post, to address a specific person, you can tag them in your response by typing @ before their name. Keep track of messages: When people send you a private message, you’ll see a notification about it in your admin panel. Keep track of new messages and respond to them to let customers know that you’re listening.

Top Reasons to follow Brands

Twitter for YOUR Business Create Tweets that resonate. Combine exciting, useful content with an engaging, unique tone to emotionally connect with your audience. Include links, pictures and videos. And remember to keep your Tweets prompt and timely—a crucial element for Twitter success.

Twitter for YOUR Business Keep Tweets short and sweet. Creativity loves constraints and simplicity is at our core. Tweets are limited to 140 characters so they can be consumed easily anywhere, even via mobile text messages. There’s no magical length for a Tweet, but a recent report by Buddy Media revealed that Tweets shorter than 100 characters get a 17% higher engagement rate.

Twitter for YOUR Business Tweet often. Like timing, Tweet frequency depends on a number of variables such as your audience, purpose and business objectives. That said, a good basic rule is between three to five Tweets per day. You may want to try tweeting a couple times a day to see how your audience reacts, then adjust as needed.

Twitter for YOUR Business Follow your interests. Following is a fantastic way to discover compelling content and inspire ideas for your own Tweets. Follow accounts that are interesting to you or your business.

Twitter for YOUR Business Simply @reply. Engage other Twitter users in conversation using @replies and mentions. The @reply feature is intended to make communication between users easy and seamless.

Twitter for YOUR Business Trending Topics Participating in Twitter trends is a great way to join a worldwide public conversation. Please don't post unrelated Tweets to trends in order to get attention—your account may be suspended!

Google+ Google+ makes sharing on the web more like sharing in the real world. It gives you new ways to share the right things with the right people, and adds a social layer across all Google products. For businesses, Google+ helps you attract new customers and build deeper relationships with current ones, by making it easier to connect to the more than a billion people who search on Google every day and by making all the marketing you do with Google even better. (https://plus.google.com/pages/create?ppsrc=bupg2)< CREATE!!

Google+ Think about your brand Start by thinking about your brand, what makes your business unique, and the personality you want to convey to your customers and followers. It’s best to stay consistent in your messaging so that your posts feel personal and authentic. Set goals What are your reasons for creating the page? You can use your page to do many things, such as find new customers, build your brand and relationships with current customers, promote events and special offers, communicate with internal teams, and much more. Whatever your goals are, it’s helpful to be detailed and specific so you can devise an actionable plan for reaching these goals.

Google+ Know your customer Once you have a few goals in mind, think about your customer and what kind of things they want to see from you. What will get them excited? What will keep them engaged? Post images and videos, host Hangouts On Air, share exclusive deals or give a behind-the-scenes tour. Mark your calendar Take out your calendar and decide how often and what type of content you want to post each day. Plan it out and write it down. We recommend posting at least every other day so your business stays top of mind and your followers have fresh content to keep them engaged. It’s also important not to post all your content at once to avoid overwhelming your followers.

Pinterest for Business Create a few boards to start your collection. Best boards are inspiring, great images that draw people in. Specific topics, make them relevant to YOUR brand or Business Use plenty of high quality images Your website may already be full of stuff that can be pinned – but make sure you have enough images and that they’re high resolution. Add the Pin It button to your site A Pin It button makes it easy for people to pin from your website. By copying and pasting just a few lines of code, you can put Pin It buttons next to images and content you want people to pin. Pinners will do the rest! Sign Up - http://business.pinterest.com/
