We have a wealth of experience with our Managing Director having spent over 25 years in the cleaning industry, and having recently developed and run a £25m company in the same market sector. Whilst there are many good systems of cleaning and management, there is a need to innovate and always review new systems and ideas, to make sure that our service is always at the forefront. We believe that by cherry picking the best ideas and discard outdated practices, we have made Clean Thinking a nimble and flexible cleaning company for the 21st century. Environment Policy Clean Thinking Ltd recognises the responsibilities placed on it by the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and we are committed to operating in such a way that work activities do not have a negative effect on the environment. Wherever possible in purchasing its materials, equipment and consumable items Clean Thinking Ltd will give preference to purchasing items that do least environmental harm. This means items should: Not be supplied with excessive packaging; Have low energy consumption; Be re-usable or at least recyclable; Have low (or zero) solvent use in manufacture; Have low (or zero) solvent emission in use; Ideally be carbon neutral. Clean Thinking Ltd will be proactive in environmental control and to self-regulation rather than being reactive after the event. The Company will seek to minimise the generation of wastes, taking into account the nature of work, through the reduction, reuse, or recycling of materials, equipment and consumables. Working to current legislation and regulatory standards are deemed the minimum requirements but the objective of Clean Thinking Ltd is to surpass this minimum standard. This philosophy is accepted and implemented from the Managing Director and throughout the workforce To this effect the Managing Director is responsible for monitoring the effectiveness of this policy. Waste Disposal It is the policy of Clean Thinking Ltd to ensure that all waste produced is disposed of in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and the Regulations made under this Act.
