Programme - Opening session Elaboration of a AK Strategy : – some of the main conclusions – goals for 2013: – political lobbying and advocacy in Denmark and the EU; – strengthening the cooperation with CSOs and movements in Africa; – strengthening partnerships with CSOs and movements; – increasing active participation in national, regional and international networks, – strengthening the organisational capacity of AK.
Programme - Opening session Capacity Assessment – Analysis of AK – written feedbacks to partners on proposals, reports and visits; – further cooperation on providing studies for improving the understanding and measurements of effects/impacts of the intervention; – tools to enhance the partners’ own capacity for planning, monitoring, management and internal learning; – providing systematic tools and methods towards organisational development to increase the sustainability and performance of the partner organisations; – conduct a yearly partnership workshop; – cooperation of gender mainstreaming; – elaboration of an overall AK strategy outlining a geographical and thematic specialisation; – improving the financial management, budgeting and regular budget controls in AK and by partners.
Objectives and Expectations for the 2.nd seminar – AK view: – further strengthening the cooperation between AK and partners in South; – capacity building within the areas of project management, workshopping and learning by doing; – achieving some recommendations towards a new DANIDA strategy for the civil society in North/South ; Programme - Opening session
