WP5 - POLICY The objective of this work package is to bring together policy administrators from institutions across Europe to review current practices and to identify examples of best practice; to build a common understanding of governance and policy implications on the strategic changes associated with the project; and create a centre for excellence in the policy area. The methodology will be to commence with an audit of current practices. The project partners will be used as the route to obtaining responses to these surveys from within their own institutions and their networks. The objective will be to achieve as broad a coverage of European higher education institutional responses as can be achieved. The results of the surveys were collated and anlysed. Activities in this work package will include: - A survey of administrative practices across Europe in respect of the design, development, delivery, assessment and review of academic programmes. - Work package meetings in partner institutions - The identification of examples of BEST PRACTICE (HERE WE ARE !!!). Debate regarding: - The procedure for obtaining the final report regarding best practice examples. - How to measure the results. - The structure of the report.

The fourth part was add after the meeting: - Non EU members

We had problems in spliting the data base – finaly solved (Thank You Laura and Tony!).

CESME WP5 - POLICY Funded by the European Union LifeLong Learning Programme SALEIE: Project No LLP UK-ERASMUS-ENW After eliminating false answers, the data base with answers for the WP5 questionnaire contains: Bechelor -11 answers from EAST (Split, Ruse, Maribor, Cluj, Kosice, Arad, Iasi, Bratislava, Craiova), 9 answers from HC (Vigo, Zaragoza, DTU, Crete, Mainz, Bordeaux, Telemark, Bergen), 3 answers from LUK (Limerick, York, Malta), 1 answer from OTHER (Izmir). Master - 6 answers from EAST (Cracow, Split, Ruse, Bratislava, Craiova), 5 answers from HC (Porto, Mainz, Bordeaux, Vorarlberg, Telemark), 1 answer from LUK (Limerick), 4 answers from OTHER (Turkey).

LLP 1 answer from EAST (Split), 4 answers from HC (Porto, Bordeaux, Toulouse, German Workforce. Before this meeting I received reports from Bachar Karaoglan, Gheorghe Livint, Ernest Cachia, Antoanela Naaji and Carsten Hhelgesen. I elaborate my self a study case (Bachelor in Romania) that I sent to the pariticipants to WP5 in Malta – to use it like an example.
