Quality Education for a Healthier Scotland How to check who is my Appraiser for Appraisees (Primary and Secondary Care)
My Appraiser Appraiser assignment is organised locally within each Health Board You cannot choose your appraiser, one will be assigned to you by the local admin team You can request a change of Appraiser if the assignment is not appropriate – e.g. Neighbours; socialise outside of work; in- laws etc You should not have the same Appraiser for more than 5 appraisals In a Revalidation cycle (5 years) you should be appraised by 2 (or more) appraisers
Click on “ My Details ” Click on “ Appraisee ” tab You can see who your Appraiser is, and their contact details If you are a Clinical Academic, your Co- Appraiser will be listed here too “ Co-ordinators ” are those who need to be informed of your appraisal but not involved with process (line manager, clinical director etc)
