2 objectives and outcomes our objectivesoutcomes for participants to disseminate the output from the TIBER project a knowledge of the resource to discuss ways in which the resource can be used more widely access to websites and learning activities to explore how others can use the resource ideas for customising the resource for own use.

11 Reporting sales performance (by poster) Head Office annual review of each store Directors visit stores to discuss overall performance poster presentation on the performance of their department over the last year make comparisons with –the previous years; –similar departments within the business group; –local competition; –the expected performance of the market sector as a whole.

14 Learning Activity – the job Students prepare job description and person specification for a vacancy at one of the TIBER companies (The Business or Logistics plc)Logistics In their groups they role play the application and appointment scenario.

15 workshop activity 1 form multi-disciplinary groups of 4 or 5 discuss: how could the business curriculum be more integrated? decide: on 5 or 6 different ideas produce: a set of post-its each with a different idea display: your post-its on the ideas wall

16 workshop activity 2 cluster post-its by topic to generate headings for further consideration discuss topics further to identify per heading above, any – enablers, – obstacles and –where TIBER might help report one/two key conclusions

17 evaluation surveys and focus groups –investigated the levels of student engagement before and after –identified factors which affect student engagement at first year level analysis of the data in progress findings to be reported
