SNOMED CT for OTs SNOMED CT is an acronym Systematized* Nomenclature of Medicine Clinical Terms The point of SNOMED CT is to record clinical data electronically & consistently in order to improve patient care From April 2015 it will be used in all electronic care records in NHS England * this is an internationally agreed term which uses the US English spelling 2 COT CPD Session © 2013 College of Occupational Therapists.
