Introduction The What?: Background information on the topic of the lab report. Found in books, scientific journals, and RELIABLE websites The Why?: Purpose of your lab & hypothesis The How?: A 1-2 sentence overview of the lab

Background The What?: Background information on the topic of the lab report. Found in books, scientific journals, and RELIABLE websites Take a few minutes to refresh your memory. How do you know a website is RELIABLE?

Reason Editor Links Information Author Bibliography Last Update Does the author have a bias, do they want money from you, and do they want any personal information? E Is there an editor, is there a copyright symbol? L Does it give you links to other sources to verify claims? I Does it provide contact information about themselves or their organization? A Does it list an author with their credentials or a publisher? B Does it list a bibliography or works cited? Is this a “zombie” website because it has not been updated?
