How Protestant was the Act of Uniformity of 1559 and later religious developments to 1563?

Main 1 Infer from the Act of Uniformity (doc 3) about; Which Prayer Book is the basis of the Elizabethan Church settlement? Changes? Allowing for? Enforcement of attendance to church Ornamentation of churches and ministers based on when?

Main 2 Complete Active History grid for the Act of Uniformity.

Main 3 – Changes Ca, P or Co on developments from right hand side of p158 & p.160 SHP and …. Geneva Bible (1560) – had Calvinist notes. Cheap. 60 editions by Articles (1563) – Convocation drew up a statement of the doctrinal beliefs of the C of E, based on the 42 articles of Moderate, but definitely Protestant. Only ratified by Parlt. In Parker’s advertisements (1566) – surplice had to be worn in church. NB not approved by Liz as copes were not insisted upon for Communion.

Plenary Comment on the following quote; MacCulloch (1990) ‘From this story of confusion and changing direction emerged a Church which has never subsequently dared define its identity decisively as Protestant or Catholic, and which has decided in the end that this is a virtue rather than a handicap.’
