The course  This flexible top-up degree is for students who have successfully completed a higher education Level 5 qualification in a computing-related area

The course  You will build on the skills you’ve already developed and select appropriate modules from a wide range, relating your choices to specialist topics you have previously studied

The course  You will be able to focus your programme in information systems and database technology, computing, multimedia, games design, forensic computing or business information technology

Structure of the course  Take 120 CATS of modules from the Course Map  CT6007 Individual Research Project  + 90 cats of modules

Other skills  A “Graduate” should also have academic skills  Ability to research a topic – Google Scholar, Library databases, books, journals  Organise the information – notes, structure  Write a summary, report or essay drawing on the evidence  Employers also want  Honesty, integrity  Timekeeping skills  Team working skills  Self-directed learner – keen to update skills

The main points are:  The degree structure is flexible  You can change your modules  But do talk to your Academic Review Tutor if you are considering this

By the end of the year  Employability  You will have the skills to work in a team and work on your own  Communication  You will be able to communicate ideas clearly to others  Note: you will be very employable if you have engaged with your studies
