 Merger of 3 academic and research departments into one School.  The challenge  IT Manager Role: 1) Review existing IT provisions across 3 departments 2) Centralised IT provision and service for the School. 3) Line manager for one IT technician 4) IT strategy plan for future IT provision. Formation of the Design School

Outlook Calendar Sharing  Staff concerns Privacy Confidentiality  Selling the advantages to dairy sharing Setting up group meetings Research students having the ability to check tutors availability Promotes staff collaboration. System is only effective if everyone agreed to share their calendar.
