In first year we watched the French film, Kirikou et la Sorcière or Kirkou and the Sorceress. Kirikou is a young boy who lives in an African village, full of poor women, plagued by the curse of an evil sorceress. The previous first years had retold the story using shadow puppets which we will be using tonight as we don’t have enough time to perform the whole play!
