Priority Areas of Research Collaboration There are three priority areas of research collaboration at Umeå University: Green Future, Applied IT And Umeå Arts Campus. Priority areas of collaboration include research areas with outstanding operations which also have large regional growth potential.

Funding for Talented Young Researchers Umeå University supports its young researchers with promising careers in their chosen fields. Knowledge without borders Umeå University has a wide range of academics with approximately 150 degree programmes and 2,000 courses. The total number of students has steadily increased over recent years, and is currently around 36,000.
