About Us

Centre for Community Based Research 25 years of research- inspired social innovation in Canada Over 400 community based research projects since 1892 Based on an entrepreneurial spirit in collaboration with its many partners to initiate new projects

Our Approach We: Believe in the power of knowledge to impact positive social change Are passionate about bringing people together to use knowledge to provide real and innovative solutions to community needs Are participatory and action-oriented in a way that mobilizes people to participate as full and equal members of society

Our Role on The Cancer Screening Spread Project CCBR is collaborating with Echo staff to facilitate an engagement process that: – Supports relationship formation and knowledge mobilization related to key learnings from the cancer screening demonstration projects – Uses critical reflection on innovative practice and the creation of a shared vision of system change to advance cancer screening capacity for women seldom or never screened across Ontario
