 Fran Gillis worked 15 years with the Thompson Grocery Company.  Fran was offered a job position at a National Drugstore company as vice president and regional manager.  Requested a good friend and colleague, Ken to write a reference and keep it a secret she was looking at a new job.  Another colleague, Jennifer Chung approached Fran with disturbing news of being sexually harassed at work by Ken.

 A form of sexual harassment has been taken place within the Thompson Grocery Company’s chain  Protect employees.  Legal obligation as a supervisor to report the sexual harassment in the workplace.  Possibility of this being untrue.

 Fran is put in a dilemma where she must make a choice to be a faithful employee, or use this new information against Ken to her advantage.

 Fran should do what is right for the employee, person being accused and for the company over and above her own needs and position.

 This is the politically correct thing for her to do- follow the company rules and regulations to ensure that the work place meets standards.

 If I were Fran I would do the politically and ethically correct thing
