Our Team Adriana del Paso is president and CEO of eLT-PD. She is a best selling EFL textbook author, has given workshops worldwide, and has over 30 years experience in various ELT fields. XXXXXXXXX is Operations Manager of eLT-PD. He has many years experience in the ELT field, and was president of BC TEAL and board member of TESL Canada. XXXXXXXXXX is Academic Advisor. She has many years experience in the ELT field, and was also president of BC TEAL, board member of TESL Canada, and has long been an advocate of professional development in ELT.

Problem Despite the important role English Language Teachers play, most lack adequate training, and have no professional development options. What’s the solution?

Database of filmed workshops from the world’s best ELT conferences Self- paced professional development Webinars Yearly online ELT Conference Online monthly journal Membership to a worldwide ELT community

Market Size Millions of teachers whose only options are expensive MAs or short courses, and who cannot afford to attend ELT language conferences.

Business Model In partnership with major associations (IATEFL, TESOL, TESL CANADA), build workshop database. Member associations will donate a % of member fees, or filmed workshops Charge non association members and private Teacher Training Institutions Accept advertising from ESL/EFL related businesses

Marketing & Sales Via teacher associations websites & journals (e.g. TESOL members 12,340 ; TESL CANADA 6,600; IATEFL 4, 000) Through Teacher Training Institutes and language schools By eventually making a certain number of professional development hours obligatory. (TESL Ontario does so presently.)

Competition IATEFL offers free access to workshops filmed in their annual conference. TESL Ontario provides access to filmed workshops, but only to its members. (No other associations or sites offer FREE online access to filmed workshops or similar professional development options. IATEFL&TESL Ontario would be invited to become members of eLT-PD.)

Projections # of English Language Learners will continue to grow # of teachers will grow # of members will grow Yearly donation of filmed workshops will grow

Whether you are a teacher association, a private school, a university or college, by supporting eLT-PD, you are supporting your learning community. If you are an ESL/EFL business, advertising with us will expose your product to the largest ELT teaching community on the WWW.
