How do I find a book using the Education Centre Library’s Catalogue?
Accessing the Catalogue: Go to the Education Centre Library’s website at and click on Catalogue
This is the screen you will see when you search the Catalogue.
Choose Your Search Type from the dropdown menu. Most people like to start with a Keyword search.

Item Information Record Library indicates which library the item belongs to. Call Number shows the item’s “address” on the Library’s shelves. Location tells you where to go in the Library to find the item and whether or not it in.

Location tells you where to go in the Education Centre Library to find the item: Standard shelving location Standard shelving location → means the regular Library shelves Circulation Desk or Multimedia-Circulation Desk Circulation Desk or Multimedia-Circulation Desk → ask at the Circulation Desk (front of the Library) Reference Material Reference Material → the low shelves near the Information Desk AV Collection AV Collection → located at the back of the Library Electronic Resources Electronic Resources → click on the link icon to access the item online Material has been checked/charged out Material has been checked/charged out → means the item is not available at this time
