Topic 1 – Define the parameters of the learning program in consultation with clients. 1.How do we clarify the purpose and focus of the learning program? 2.How do we identify access and confirm the competencies or outcomes, LLN needs and goals etc? 3.How do we determine the scope and breadt of the program? 4.What needs to be identified and considered in relation to target group, safety, resources and the learning environment?

Topic 2 – Generate options for designing the learning program. 1.What do we need to use to develop the learning program? 2.How do we determine the target group learning styles and educational profiles and use them to develop the learning program? 3.What is already existing to inform the development of learning program? is there one already existing? Can something be customised to suit? 4.How do you determine the learning program content? Who needs to be consulted in this process? What learning principles should be used? 5.Consider the time frames, possible costs, logistics. What is the impact for your learning program? 6.How do we evaluate the all options and make appropriate choices?

Topic 3 – Develop the learning program content 1.How do we determine content? What needs to be researched, developed and documented to satisfy agreed design processes and using applied learning principles? 2.What learning resources or content already exist that can be customised for target audience? How do we determine relevance and quality? 3.What new content is to be developed based on relevant learning principles? 4.How do we include specified Assessment requirements into the Learning and Assessment pathway?

Topic 4 – Design the learning program structure 1.How do we determine structure? What areas need to be broken up? How does sequence assist in achievement of performance criteria? 2.How do you ensure the segmented/overall times, resources, assessment methods, tools are appropriate or determined? 3.What organisational requirements need to be considered and documented? 4.What documentation should be produced when finalising the program that covers all parts of the learning program?

Topic 5 – Review the learning program 1.How do we determine structure? What areas need to be broken up? How does sequence assist in achievement of performance criteria? 2.How do you ensure the segmented/overall times, resources, assessment methods, tools are appropriate or determined? 3.What organisational requirements need to be considered and documented? 4.What documentation should be produced when finalising the program that covers all parts of the learning program? 5.In what way can you ensure a holistic evaluation of the Learning Program 6.When seeking approval after review who should be involved
