Innovative New Waste Management System The Coffs Ex Services Club is leading the way in minimising waste to landfill

INTRODUCTION OF 3-BIN WASTE SYSTEM October 2007 CEX engaged Handybin to provide services for the 3- bin system. Reasons for revising services:  To improve safe operating procedures  To minimise costs  To increase recycling and enhance benefits to our community

3-Bin System 3-bin system includes:  Organics (food waste and soiled paper);  Mixed Recyclables;  Garbage and;  Cardboard collection

BENEFITS OF 3-BIN SYSTEM Reduced OH&S issues regarding the movement of waste Cost savings on waste disposal Environmental benefits through increased recycling

Outcomes 84% of RSL waste is now composted or recycled. Approximate reduction of 1.6 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions per week. This comprehensive waste system is helping the Club lead the way in waste management within the industry.
