Preparing your application budget When applying for funds think about all required expenses and cost appropriately Both the ARC and NHMRC have stated that researchers must seek approval prior to moving between funds between categories (eg salary and equipment); If you would like assistance with application budgets contact research office early
Planning budget when awarded Typically grants are not funded at 100% Prepare revised budget based on awarded funds ensuring that you will have adequate funds for critical project elements over the life of the project ARC grant recipients will now provide this to RS included in the acceptance form Changes to project as a result of reduced funds should be stated in progress reports
