Jesus Healing the Sick  Jesus used to walk everywhere with his disciples healing sick people and teaching people.  Jesus used to go from place to place with a ship.  Then one time as He was traveling, He went to a city called Bethsaida.

A Blind Man  The Lord Jesus and His disciples left the ship and went into the city and started teaching people in the city.  Then as he was teaching, they brought Him a blind man and asked Him to touch him so he could be healed.

Jesus Talks about the Kingdom of God The Lord Jesus got up and took the man and they went outside the village.  Then He started talking to the man about the Kingdom of God and about His life.  After the Lord talked to the blind man about the kingdom of God (heaven), he spat on his eyes then He asked him, can you see anything?

Jesus Heals the Blind Man  The blind man said “I can see men, but they look like trees walking.”  Then Jesus put His hands on his eyes. Then the man started staring hard and he started seeing everything clearly.  He saw all the people that were around Jesus, he saw the trees, the roads, the gardens, heaven. He saw everything. He was so happy

Go Home!  Then Jesus told him that he could go home now. And the man left.  As the man was leaving, the Lord told him “Do not enter the village and do not tell anybody in the village. The man went home praising God”.

Conclusions & Applications  When you meet a blind man in the street give him a hand and help him to cross the street. The Unction of the Sick is a sacrament established by Christ in which the priest prays seven prayers on the sick people and then anoints them with the Holy Oil.
