Our Challenge… Develop a simple system to transfer text data provided by Avis, Wizard, into the MYOB Accounting System. Produce management reports from RentaLink and MYOB. Create and maintain a database of historical rental information.

No duplication of effort - all data is imported and exported with only a few mouse clicks. Information is stored permanently in the database to build a history of all RA’s. Users can develop their own ad-hoc queries and reports or have them done by anyone with minimum knowledge of Access. Financial reports ( Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet etc.) updated automatically during each input run. Features & Benefits

When you receive a new vehicle, enter the information into RentaLink, print this report and fax through to NZ. No more writing by hand and you have the added bonus of a database of your vehicles enabling detailed reporting.

2) Click on Binoculars 1) Highlight Search Field search (Also included in Version 2 is the facility to enter Residual Value which is shown in various reports) Search on Vehicle Details... Search to find out a vehicle’s security code, if needed, or maybe to check “Due Off” dates. Search on Registration Number to find out relevant MVA number etc.

Search on RA’s... Unlike Wizard, you can maintain a database of RA’s as far back as required. Search by RA number, by renter or company name. You can filter on RateCode etc., and see how many RA’s match this criteria.

Set up a Check List per vehicle... This will save having to manually write one every time a vehicle is rented.

This just provides a brief overview of the reporting ability of RentaLink and MYOB. As advised at the start of this introduction, RentaLink can be used as a stand alone product or in conjunction with MYOB.
