The first yo-yo ever made was in 500 bc and it was made in Ancient Greece. The first yo-yo was made out of terracotta, wood and metal. The Egyptians’ put carvings in the walls of the pyramids of yo-yos.

In some yo-yos there is a clutch In some yo-yos there is a clutch. The clutch is a mechanism so when you throw the yo-yo down it releases the axle and when the yoyo slows down the clutch quickly grips the axle again this makes the yoyo come back before it comes to a stop.
