Let’s Go Green Campaign Introduction Task Process Evaluation Conclusion

Let’s Go Green Campaign 1. INTRODUCTION The school community is worried about the environment and wants to launch a campaign to encourage people (students, teachers, students’ families, school staff) to look after our school and protect the environment. You are an advertising agency and in order to be awarded this campaign you have been asked to prepare an enthusiastic and effective presentation to convince members of the school board.

Let’s Go Green Campaign 2. TASK You will have to prepare an oral presentation to convice the school board to choose your campaign and vote for you ! You will need a Power Point presentation or video to support your project. You will also have to design a leaflet for your campaign.

Let’s Go Green Campaign 3. PROCESS Form groups of three. Design and create a leaflet for your campaign. Create an attractive Power Point presentation or video to support your speech. Prepare your speech.

Let’s Go Green Campaign Your leaflet should include: Image (your own pics a plus!) Your slogan. Instructions/ ideas on how to help to reduce rubbish, save energy … The positive effects of putting this into practice.

Let’s Go Green Campaign Your Power Point Presentation should have: No more than 5 slides. No text. Your own pictures (a plus!) If you are in the pics , even better!

Let’s Go Green Campaign Your video should: Be no longer than 3 minutes. Be in English. Have a good sound quality. Tip: You could use your mobile phone or camera if you don’t have a cam recorder.

Let’s Go Green Campaign Your campaign speech should include the following information: What we* do wrong (in the playground, classroom, staffroom, staircase, toilets…) Your plans to change this situation; alternatives, ideas… Why you think it will work * (students, teachers, students’ families, school staff)

Let’s Go Green Campaign 4. EVALUATION Each student will complete an assessment table for each member of the group. You will all be assessed following the same rubric.

Let’s Go Green Campaign 5. CONCLUSION. Now that you know what we are doing wrong with the environment, what impact our actions have on the school and the environment, and what we CAN and MUST do in order to help improve it DON’T SIT BACK, TAKE ACTION ! EVERY LITTLE HELPS!
