Activity 2. Lakbayan 1. Each learning team will stay for 3 minutes and answer each question per station and will move from one station to another after the “next” command. Station 1. Expectations from the Training Program Question : What do you expect to gain from this training ? Station 2. Session 2 The 21 st Century Learners

Objectives 1.Describe 21 st century learner; and 2. Identify concrete teacher’s actions in developing 21 st century learners

Activity : 25 minutes Group tasks: Draw and Describe ( D&D) 1. Draw a 21 st century learner on a ¼ sheet of manila paper 2. Write at least 3 descriptions of a 21 st century learner on metacards 3. Present the group output to the class.

Questions : ( 20 minutes ) On the process : Ask: 1. How did you find the activity ? Why ? 2. How did you come up with your group output?

Session 3 “MAY ‘K’ ang K to 12 Curriculum”

Objectives 1.Identify the salient features of K to 12 Curriculum; 2.Match and discuss the connections/interconnections of the salient features of K to 12 Curriculum to Dep Ed’s vision/mission; 3. Write simple sample plans using “Spiral approach” as the main tool/approach to any subject of K to 12 Curriculum.

Activity Group task : ( 20 minutes) 1. Each group will receive envelopes containing task to perform/do. 2. Given the task (found inside the envelope), brainstorm on how to do such task by answering the questions given below: What is the group’s perception about the new program of the Dep Ed?

Activity How do you compare the old curriculum to the K to 12 Curriculum? Cite differences or similarities. Identify important features of the K to 12 Curriculum based on the seminar that you have just attended. 3. Present the output of the group in the plenary.
