Project Planning & Kick-off Analysis Implementation Description – The Design Team is facilitated through a systematic design process; some details are completed after the design meeting Key Activities/Tasks – A Design Team composed of one to three members from the Analysis Team and members of the Project Team meet to define the design outputs; subsequently, a Project Steering Team gate review meeting is held Key Outputs – Design Document with T&D Path(s), T&D Module Specifications, T&D Event Specifications, T&D Module Inventory Framework, and Individual T&D Planning Guide(s) Phase 3 Kick-off Presentation Phase 3 Review Presentation Note: The intent of the team approach to design is not “to design by committee” but to influence the designers by committee

CAD Design Steps 1. Establish the T&D Paths - Beginning - Middle - End 2. Establish AoP-derived Modules and place/sort on to the path(s) (B-M-E) 3. Review Existing T&D Assessments (ETAs) and sort onto the path(s) 4. Review each enabling knowledge/skill item and - Embed into AoP-derived Module or - Place prior to first AoP-derived Module it enables 5. Modularize all nonembedded knowledge/skill items

Check sequence/flow of all - AoP-derived Modules - ETAs - K/S-derived Modules 7. “Eventize” all Modules, sequence on path, and detail deployment method, estimated length, etc. 8. Clean up T&D Path - Final titling, sequence, and phase timing 9. Close effort and debrief
