NParks Learning Journey Assignment By Mark, Joel, Meng Loong and Elliot

Although we want to have more urban environments for humans to live in, we also cannot live without natural environments for flora and fauna, so we should have a balance between urban environments and natural environments to ensure the continuity of people, fauna and flora. VS Urban Natural

So, this problem leads to the big question…

How do we keep a balance between urban and natural environments?

The Answers We can reduce pollution by not littering everywhere, instead we should throw our litter into the garbage bins. This will help preserve habitats for living things, where animals might eat the litter by accident and die. We should also cut down on deforestation so as to save more trees, which is an example of a natural environment, and also prevent soil erosion, so that the soil will not pollute water bodies leading to more dead animals but we can cut down some but not too many trees for urban environments like houses and buildings, so that we create a balance between both environments. We should also limit the number of factories as they pollute the environment and air that we breathe in, therefore we will all breathe in the harmful and toxic gases such as sulphur dioxide, which then may cause acid rain which will harm more living things, like ourselves.
