I HAVE A DREAM Philip S. + Charlie Bu. August 28, 1963
100 years ago, abraham lincoln signed the Emancipation proclomation and 100 years later, they are still segregated and treated poorly.
He compares blacks to a “bad check” that came back marked “Insufficient funds”
This is not a time to lay back; it is a time to rise and be free.
We cannot be violent and do wrong things while trying to gain freedom. Nonviolence
We cannot hate all whites because some of them are here with us and we have to work together to do this.
We wont be satisfied until our needs are met
I have a dream- calls out southerners- wants all people to be created equal
- If america is a good nation, this should happen. Let freedom ring from every corner of our country- mountains. FREE AT LAST
