There once was a young boy named Eli. Although his name means height, he is the shortest in the school. Eli has brown hair, one green eye and one blue. He had a great sense of humor.

Eli was at school one day, partially dragging his feet. See, he likes school but only because of all of his friends, he detests learning! So... What do you think his solution was to his “terribly, awful” school days?

That’s right, he day- dreamed. Eli, with his two curious eyes, thought up a whole new world during his afternoons at school. He visioned castles and kings, flying on wings, and magic- talking things!

Eli was a great warrior, he saved all the damsels’ from the fiery dragons keep. He talked to his animal friends who played with him in the enchanted forests and poppy fields. Eli could imagine anything he wanted to. As this was, one day during his reading class, Eli had conjured up a fantastic adventure to pass the time... What if, The Evil Wizard attempted to steal his world!?

Eli rode his noble steed to the wizards castle. This castle was dark and scary and Eli could feel his fear all around him but his steed wouldn’t let him turn back, “You have to do this Eli. We’ll all be free as soon as you defeat The Evil Wizard.” the pair rode on with smiles on their faces toward the castle.

When the team arrived at the castle, the wizard came out to speak to them, “Please no! don’t hurt me, for I want to be your friend! I never wanted to take your place! I-I wanted to meet the great warrior Eli! That’s all.”

After the wizard had told us what was really going on, Eli and his noble steed, Butterwinkle, decided to trust the wizard and tell all of his knight friends and animal friends to welcome him. Since “The Evil Wizard” didn’t really fit as a name for the wizard he told us his real name, “My name is Jeff and I am the fruit making wizard!”

So, Eli and all of his make believe friends and animal-friends and Jeff the Wizard had a feast of fruit and... RIIIINNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGG GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!... Eli’s eyes fluttered open.

Eli woke up from his wonderful dream, finally taking in his classroom around him and his classmates packing their bags to leave. Looks like he had survived another day of school. With a smile on his face, Eli left his classroom and waved good-bye to his teacher thinking of how great his day was.
