What is the unique value proposition of this building block / Why do we need this for our CRPs? Radio is the best medium to reach rural communities Ownership is wide Big reach Accessible to many people- reach illiterate communities Cheap Reaches them in their local language Easy to make it participatory and integrated Proven impact- farmers feel that what they hear on the radio is credible – Note:What works well for farmers will be different for other actors Messages, for a, etc. Moreso for the producing side of the chain rather than the other actors Perhaps use mobile technology to reach all actors along the value chain Building block:
