bh Search for Opportunities

bh Experiment and Take Risks If you win, you’ll be happy. If you lose, you’ll be wise.

Discussion Questions 30 Seconds - Role Call Question (10 min) This year, in our school, we are challenging the process by … Background: We know that in northern Alberta the overall student achievement is lower than the provincial norms. Furthermore, high school completion rates, particularly for FNMI students are also significantly lower. We also know that changes to improve student learning will occur through the effective implementation of a large number of smaller initiatives, rather than through a single transformation. Questions: “How can we, at our school, change the educational process, for those students we currently fail? What are some small wins that will make a difference for students and move us in the direction of fully meeting the educational needs of these students?” wp
