Which definition in your opinion do you feel most closely defines needs analysis? A – Definition 1 A method of analysing how employee skill deficits can be addressed through current or future training and professional development programmes, as well as determining the types of training/development programmes required and how to prioritise training/development. B – Definition 2 Training needs analysis – a process to determine what people need to learn and how training may help. The result of the analysis is a training needs report which identifies prioritised training/learning needs and interventions needed to reduce key performance gaps. C – Definition 3 Includes all the activities used to collect information about your students' learning needs, wants, wishes, desires, etc. The process also sometimes involves looking at the expectations and requirements of other interested parties.
