Assignment Make a ceramic owl. All of the handbuilding methods will be used in this project.
Instructions Use 2 pinch pots and join with a coil ▫HINT same method as vases Wall thickness should be about ¼ inch ▫Bottom: 1 lb. ▫Top: ½ to ¾ lb. 1/3 height 2/3 height

Tips for Success Use the short tail and talons to balance the owl REMEMBER to drill a hole in the base!!!

Final Product Turn in a bisqued owl (30 pts) Rough draft drawing with teacher signature and student name (1 bonus point) Self Evaluation with response and reflection You have the option to glaze but it won’t be graded
