1. Statistics for Results Facility - SRF What? Global partnership initiative What for? To scale-up investments in statistical capacity Who? UK, Netherlands funding / World Bank managing How? Providing grants to support countries, as a catalyst with the hope that the demonstration effect will encourage governments to increase funding for statistics Desired outcome? To make sustainable improvements in the production, availability and use of quality statistics, to increase capacity in policy formulation and decision-making for development. The Project: Development objectives (1/2) - 7 pilots countries: Afghanistan, DRC, Ghana, Lao PRD, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal Nigeria : Focuses on 6 Pilot states (Anambra, Bauchi, Edo, Kaduna, Niger, Ondo), NBS and NPoPC.
