Introduction 81% of eligible people aged 15+ living with HIV have accessed lifesaving HIV treatment in FS Free State province, continues to achieve dramatic results in the AIDS response – lives saved and new infections averted. The number of children newly infected declined from in 2004 to 540 in The FS HIV/AIDS Spectrum Model results, showed an increase in prevalence( 15-49) from 18.80% in 2004, to 19.57% in Infection levels are highly variable between districts & by gender.
