Camera Functions How to change shutter speed and aperture using your camera meter

I want to use an aperture of f8 to take a picture of this flower. It’s sunny out today, and my meter says: 1/1000 is underexposed 1//250 is overexposed What should my shutter speed be?

I want to use a shutter speed of 1/125 to take a picture girl. It’s sunny out today, and my meter says: F/22 is underexposed f/11 is overexposed What should my aperture(f-stop) be?

When hand holding your camera, shoot at a shutter speed no less than 1/60. Anything slower will be hard to hold steady, and may cause “camera shake.”
