Each Lesson has... Title

When you show the title: Brainstorm! What is… ? What do you know about… ? Tell me about… Help students connect the title with the concepts they have learned in class during the previous week.

Each Lesson has... Key Words

The KEY WORDS are displayed on a whiteboard at the top of each lesson, along with pictures to illustrate their meaning.

As students look at the worksheet whiteboard, the teacher should - Elicit prior-knowledge Ask students to give (predict) meanings from the visual context
