In this world of digital manipulation nothing seems to be what it is. We now have so many amazing options in which to explore our creativity enabling us to open up endless new worlds of expression. Therein is my dilemma. Is digital creativity true human expression or merely concepts fused and filtered on a bed of pixels? It is creativity molded by a mouse; not directly by a human hand. It is perfection displacing personality. And personality is what being human is all about. We must not lose sight of where we have come. We must remain true to our creative core and think organically in this digital landscape. For all thought is organic in nature and the computer merely a conduit for our visions. It’s the unlimited versus the limited. That is what defines this collection. Before you are disparate images organically crafted together to convey ideas. They embrace personality. No software was used in their creation. No illusion necessary ‐ just printed images, dabs of paint, drawings, ephemera, scissors, glue, and a little bit of magic. They are corporeal. They are visceral. My craft is the human assembly of concepts. It’s the process of bringing my mind’s eye to life ‐ to touch your life. To me the journey is as important as the destination. I’ve learned from the best ‐ all those talented artists who have walked this earth before me. These are my visions; organic in nature, organic in presentation. I hope you enjoy what I see.
