The UFHRD Research Honorarium A small fund to promote HRD related research Normally, an annual ‘call’ for proposals Competitive bidding process Indicative research projects: - theory building, conceptual development - teaching and learning in HRD - innovative practice in HRD

A good ‘Research Honorarium’ bid will:  Be fit for purpose  Sit comfortably within an HRD research agenda  Have a clarity of purpose and proposed outcomes  Be appropriately positioned within existing literature / research  Be achievable in timeframe / resource constraint  Have a sound methodology  Indicate how monies will be used  Indicate a (modest) contribution to HRD theory/practice
