Stage 6 Exploring Early Childhood This course covers a interactive approach to child care. Children and childhood are examined from a multidisciplinary perspective and students have opportunities to link theory and practice. This course is practically based and allows the students to enjoy a variety of experiences with young children. Students will be able to interact with young children as well as engage in a variety of practical activities which will enable them to produce a valuable resource in the form of a journal. This may be used to present to employers for those wishing to enter into the field of Childcare.

Through the study of this subject, you will gain experiences that can be applied to a range of contexts, including work, study and leisure and that will assist you to make informed career choices. Hospitality can be studied as a 2 Unit class in yr 11 and 12 or 4 Unit class in yr 11.
