WHAT MAKES UP A COMPUTER BY SABRINA & BETH

MOTHERBOARD On the Computer, the Motherboard is where all the different parts are connected too work the computer. The motherboard lets you add or remove things, it features a expansion slot that allows you to add extra pieces to it. Besides that the motherboard basically is the head of the computer where all the connections are.

A CENTRAL PROCESSING UNIT The central processing unit (CPU) is located on the motherboard, the CPU, or Central Processing Unit performs the thinking functions of the computer. Such as adding the contents of a memory location, It gives you an idea of what is going on. CPU's have the capacity to perform many low level functions that are enhanced when added together into an application. If done correctly, the entire process is transparent to the user and all you see is a well designed application.

A RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY The ram is used on the computer for storing information, documents, files, images etc. the random access memory is in a form of a hard drive this is how your work you do on the computer is remembered and saved for next time you access the file. The bigger random access memory space is on your hard drive the more things you can save.

OPERATING SYSTEM The operating system is a software which controls how you access and use all your files and documents on the computer such as windows, iOS etc. The software that supports a computer's basic functions, such as scheduling tasks, executing applications

CONNECTIVITY Connectivity applies to the computer in a way to access internet without connected wires. Two types of connectivity is Wi-Fi & Bluetooth.
