Some thoughts about education “The whole purpose of education is to turn mirrors into windows.” – Sydney J. Harris “I like a teacher who gives you something to take home to think about besides homework.” – Lily Tomlin “Often, when I am reading a book, I stop and thank my teacher. That is, I used to, until she got my unlisted number.” “ The best teachers teach from the heart, not from the book.”

This year we will be conducting an informal interview process, where will be asking you a series of questions about your child. The questions will cover a variety of skill areas such as; social, independence, communication, fine and gross motor skills. We will also ask you to comment on additional areas such as; how your child sleeps, their use of technology and any hobbies or sports they may take part in. This process is simply for the benefit of getting to know your child as much as possible before they start next year, so that we can best cater for their needs. At the end of this session we would like you to book in to one of the scheduled interview times that we have allocated. Please ensure that you receive your return slip with your date and time. We will be conducting the interviews in our Assistant Principals office. Information Sessions
