Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula Safi- Aneese- Mark- Danny- Alex

The Al-Qaeda Arabian Peninsula began in Yemen. Al-Qaeda is a Muslim extremist group who have made numerous terrorist attacks. The first and one of the most renowned terrorist attacks by Al Qaeda is the attack on the World Trade Center where they ran into the two towers with airplanes. Al-Qaeda is said to be one of the most dangerous terrorist organizations. About Al-Qaeda

The Conflict In ea rly 2007, Iraq’s main armed groups had confirmed a split with Al-Qaeda, Iraq. The involvements of Al-Qaeda include: Iraq, Israel, Palestine, Lebanon and Yemen. Currently, there are 54 million people living in the peninsula, and the war is not commencing. It is now mostly part of Saudi Arabia.

The Consequences What are the consequences for the children in yemen? In Yemen, there are many children who have hard times. Because of all the conflicts in Yemen, it’s one of the hardest places to live, and raise a family. Mostly children, and mothers have poor healthcare, and poor education, if any. Yemen should have a better government, and have better and more laws. Many girls are being forced to get married at an early age, and therefore ruining their future. Everyone should be going to school.

Letter to Al-Qaeda Dear Al-Qaeda, Children have the right to a standard living, as stated by the Children’s Rights Charter. And you are not providing that because you are attacking people and that is causing their parents, or even them, to die. So please stop doing what you are doing.
