 An approximate 4.9 million deaths have been recorded.  The probability of dying younger than five is about 257 of  Approximately 3.7 million have died post-war due to deprivation.  Increase in population.

 Election Commission plans to cut down around 80 centers.  Nangarhar has now had many terrorist attacks and assassinations.  A reported 40% of Afghans do not have food most of the time.  36% of the population is believed to live in poverty the whole time.

 Weak asset base  Only 24% of Afghan’s above the age of 15 can read and write.
